Santa Cruz Marine Rescue Unit
The City of Santa Cruz Volunteer Marine Rescue Unit provides 24-hour response to ocean related emergencies and rescues throughout the year. The Marine Rescue Unit is comprised of volunteers who live within a 15-minute response time of the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf and who have strong aquatic backgrounds. Club Ed at Cowell Beach Concession
is the Fun Zone!
Rentals and lessons are available in sailboarding,kayaking, body surfing, surfing and boogie boarding. We also rent surfboards, wetsuits, beach chairs, umbrellas and volleyballs. Season memberships available. Open daily. For more information, call Ed at (831) 459-WAVE.

Venture Quest
Rent a kayak and enjoy a cruise around the Wharf and Lighthouse areas. Visit with sea lions and otters while exploring the kelp beds and coastline from Cowell Cove. We offer classes, sales, rentals and tours, with beginning level 2.5 hour nature tours.
